Opposition to stopping Brexit is not because Brexit is a good idea - v few think that now.
It’s because people fear more division.
But far *more danger* in pushing ahead with communities finding themselves *worse off*.

People let down will see politicians who knew about the impacts of Brexit but who nonetheless failed to explain the realities and carried on pretending there’d be benefits, when they knew all along.
There’s no political gain in a policy of deliberate confusion and distraction.

The *only* way to solve this crisis - which can only get worse if we carry on like this - is to ditch the fantasies, get real about our situation and go out and listen to what people expect and want from this.
We must present realistic, deliverable and explicable solutions to problems people face. If leaving the EU or single market or customs union will make those problems worse we need to explain so.
