in this thread I will attempt to enumerate all the ways in which trans women actually benefit from male privilege
1) no female reproductive system! that's a big one. can't get pregnant, don't have to worry about menstruation.

never mind that we don't even have the OPTION of giving birth

was gonna mention not having the problem of doctors not listening to us about our own bodies but lol
2) not socialized as girls from a young age, not taught to be meek and submissive and serve the patriarchy

instead we're taught masculine behaviors that will later undermine our attempts to be seen as women, unless we try to be meek and submissive and serve the patriarchy
3) likely to have higher economic status, before transition. not discouraged from pursuing STEM education, given preferential treatment in hiring, promotion, raises

and after transition some of us even get to keep those jobs. in male-dominated fields. if we're lucky.
