So while I continue to push this feature script for financing, I'm starting to develop another one. I haven't been at this stage in the process in a long time so it's like I'm starting a whole new approach to development.
It's crazy how much more stuff I know now as opposed to when I started the first one. I was at NYU when I began it, but it's crazy how little I knew. Wow. I'm curious to see how this process is going to go now compared to the first time.
Even the streamlining of ideas is better this time than the first. I have a much clearer idea of what is needed to build the world and the characters so the conflict is more apparent. I understand layers much more now. It's weird to be aware of your growth in the moment.
I'm also focusing on a subject I know very well so that helps too.
