Food used to be my crutch. I can be quoted saying, "I'll never be skinny again cause I like food too much"....

The truth is my body was addicted to the constant exogenous supply of glucose.

I used to have arthritis in my knee, and if I didn't eat, I got severe....
Hunger pangs and hypoglycemia.

A doctor when I was young told me I had insulin resistance and told me the solution was to keep candy in my pocket.... worsening this condition

I counted calories
I ate sugar laden protein bars
I got energy drinks (cause at least they have ...
Metabolism boosters.... or so I thought)
I took diet pills
I ate sugars and treats in moderation
I went to the gym and did copious amounts of cardio (and one time I did get skinny and keep it off for a few years in the military)
But after I regained, I could not get it back off..
I also stayed overweight with hypoglycemia, hyperthyroidism, insulin resistance, lethargy, brain fog, constantly forgetting things, arthritis, and what I assume were signs of heart attack as it runs in my family, and fatty liver.

#intermittentfasting helped me start healing...
My insulin resistance and as I weaned myself off carbs at the start of breaking my #fasting regimen, I started feeling better.

I told myself I could never go #keto because I like bread and stuff too much.

I weaned slowly to #lchf and then #keto . I no longer feel heart pains
No longer have hunger pangs, no longer have arthritis, even after #HIIT
No longer have insulin resistance
No longer am I a slave to food. I eat when I want to and feel full when I do.
I do not count calories
I have lost 60lbs
I am currently at 15% body fat
I have 0 brain fog...
I am way better because I GOT RID OF SUGAR AND STARCHY CARBS

The doctor who told me to eat candy, prescribed me to a future of T2D and cardiovascular disease. If #diet and counting calories hasn't worked, it's time to change your nutrition all together.

Let go of sugar and
Take hold of life.

The industries making money off your diseases dont want you to know that you hold the keys to curing yourself of chronic disease.

Fix your #diet and #nutrition and you will notice the difference, I can promise you that.
