So let’s say a Nazi militia rolls into town now, carrying AR-15s. In formation, they march straight down the Downtown Mall, chanting “Jews will not replace us” and “Russia is our friend.”

Police *could* arrest every member of a Nazi militia that showed up. Put them in jail over night. Charge them with whatever. Release them piecemeal, over hours, on bail.

Don’t tell me that police don’t know how to deal with a group of undesirables. They may *choose* to let Nazis be, and to arrest counterprotesters for “disturbing the peace” or whatever, but they absolutely have mechanisms, accepted among LEOs, that they could use against Nazis.
