This is totally plausible. If you think we can't lose the house , you are not paying attention. Republicans have as much contempt for Trump as Democrats do. This Russia witchhunt could of been ended a long time ago but they let it drag on, why?! Ask yourself that question. 
The Republican establishment looks perfectly ok with letting the Dems do their dirty work ! They hated Trump before he won and they still hate him now. Just a handful of Republicans have supported the President wo wavering.
