I am going to say this, and i hope its gets through to the powers that be. The American people do not like being lied to. We want the truth told to us. WE are not children. We can handle the truth. Keeping secrets will only upset more people then win them over. Think about this!
When people realize they are being plaid by the powers that be, they are going to be highly upset. Leading them to believe one thing, when the opposite is the truth. Transparency and truthfulness is what we expect from out leaders.WE do not like games being played with our lives!
Trust is earned. You can't expect people to trust you when you are not forthcoming with the truth. You want people eyes opened? Tell them the truth. Stop playing games with people and give them the full truth, so they can make up their own minds. Deception is a bad risk! Think!
People are arguing and fighting over what is truth and what is a lie. That is not how you unite people. A united people is based on truth. Calling it protecting the people is not a good excuse. Trust me, it will bite you in the end. From then on in, no one will trust anything!
When i was a kid, i got caught in a big lie. My father said at that point that he could no longer trust me. I agonized over it.I worked very hard to gain back his trust. It took months upon months.The loss of trust is how people lose elections! Strategy should never involve lies!
If you have to keep things secret that is one thing. Knowing the enemy will get wind of something. But to outright lie to people, is the most damaging thing in the long run. Trust me, its better to tell the truth. If you can't share something, say, i can't share it. WE understand
