Unless this guy has an alt I’d be surprised to find out he has significant connections to any alt- right Group, just your local self radicalized by “traditional” conservative media
His Facebook likes of conservative things are all relatively high up on his likes list (suggesting they were made recently). I haven’t dug through his whole twitter but I’m not finding much in who he is following
Screenshotting his friends list in case his Facebook gets taken down- but no local Nazis alt or normie profiles are sticking out to me (but @LouisvilleARA might want to give it a look)
He appears to be involved at least peripherally in comic book/ Marvel culture? (My particular brand of nerd cannot distinguish between these lol) I’m not sure if he participated in person at events but his online interests seem to be those.
I’m not going to post the profile right now but he does seem to have one Threeper on his friends list (I’m not familiar with the guy so he may just be using the logos without being a “member”)
(For reference the Threepers were who held the rally against Occupy ICE in Louisville, they also have some significant overlap with the Louisville Proud Boys eu.courier-journal.com/story/news/201…)
Nothing besides them being Facebook friends suggests that the shooter interacted much with this threeper though
Everything I can find makes me think this guy has no long term significant connections to any alt-right groups (if he has any at all I think they would be rather new). I could be wrong, but not seeing anything I normally see (or anything to suggest this guy is good at subterfuge
I wish that was comforting but honestly the idea that people are getting the idea to go on racially motivated shooting sprees based on only more mainstream consumption of news is equally terrifying.

Apparently he admined a group about conspiracy theorist Clive Lewis (link to rational wiki here: rationalwiki.org/wiki/Clyde_Lew…) slowly going through posts there
These Facebook groups appear to be his biggest connection so far to larger groups- this particular conspiracy theorist has a lot of connections to Alex Jones type stuff so I would not be surprised if he was engaged in this kind of media
