(THREAD) George Papadopoulos and I have agreed we both want Trump-Russia collusion claims thoroughly examined, so I choose to have faith in him by offering these Twitter interview questions—including those I promised him. I hope you'll RETWEET (and that @GeorgePapa19 will reply).
Q1: Per the NYT, Trump aide John Mashburn told Congress you emailed him in the first half of 2016 to tell him of Mifsud's claim the Kremlin had Clinton emails. Will you state unequivocally that—for reasons unknown—Mashburn lied to Congress (a crime) in saying you sent that email?
Q2: You told Greek media you had at least one call with Trump that he hasn't acknowledged, as well as at least one face-to-face meeting besides March 31, 2016. Please list the dates/topics of a) all your calls with Trump and b) all your meetings with Trump besides March 31, 2016.
Q3: Within days of leaving Carson's campaign, you had a job *and* significant title at the LCILP in London. How did you come to assume that job/title—and did *anyone* at the LCILP at any point indicate they'd had contact with *any* Trump aides or allies prior to/while hiring you?
Q4: You worked with Flynn on Carson's campaign, during the Trump campaign, and during the transition—and wrote/traveled with his deputy KT McFarland's predecessor as Weinberger's speechwriter, Seth Cropsey. Describe in detail your work with Flynn and any meetings with McFarland.
Q5: Your campaign boss Flynn is tied to Israeli intel expert Joel Zamel (Psy Group); your old boss Carson is tied to Israeli intel outfit Inspiration. List any contacts/meetings you had with Israeli intel experts—in or out of Israeli government—from 2015 through 2017, with dates.
Q6: Your second May 2016 trip to Athens came while Putin was there for his only 2016 EU trip. Did you know in advance he'd be there, and did you meet—or try to meet—him or any of his agents, allies, or associates during that trip? If so, at whose behest, and what did you discuss?
Q7: You told Greek officials you helped Trump win the presidency and had a "blank check"—directly from Trump—for any job you wanted in his administration. When did Trump—or if not him, who—make this offer to you, and *precisely* what service was being recompensed with that offer?
Q8: You've called Ivan Timofeev a low-level functionary and said Mifsud never indicated how he might've learned the Kremlin had HRC emails. Published excerpts of your emails to/from Timofeev/Mifsud/Vinogradova contradict such claims. Do you dispute the accuracy of these excerpts?
Q9: Please list/describe any meetings you attended at which any of the following people were present *and* future energy issues in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, or Israel was discussed: Tom Barrack, Rick Gates, Bud McFarlane, Mike Flynn, Erik Prince, Steve Bannon, Kushner, or Trump.
Q10: After you told Trump—on March 31, 2016—you were acting as a Kremlin intermediary in trying to set up a secret Trump-Putin meeting, he rewarded you by putting you on the editing team for the Mayflower Speech. Can you describe your contribution? Which parts did you write/edit?
Q11: You say you introduced Trump to Egypt's president; Trump says hardly anyone on his team knew you. Clovis cleared you to go to Russia to set up a Trump-Putin summit; Caputo called you a "coffee boy." Can you explain why everyone on the Trump campaign is lying about your role?
Q12: You say you've "no reason to disbelieve" Stephan Roh—Mifsud's pal/financier/lawyer (via a power-of-attorney form)—when he says Mifsud's an FBI asset—despite Roh and his wife's Kremlin ties and years of Russia travel. Roh says you work for the FBI, too. Should we believe him?
Q13: The LCILP has ties in Russia, Italy and Saudi Arabia—3 anti-Russian sanctions nations. You cite a Western intel tie, also. Why did you keep working there for months after you said you were leaving for Trump's campaign? What were LCILP's campaign ties? medium.com/@Brian_Whit/th…
Q14: Your boss Flynn had secret ties to Turkey; Turkey approached you via Azra Turk. Flynn had ties to Israeli intel outfits; an Israeli intel outfit contacted you. Flynn had secret Russia ties; Russia contacted you. Egyptian pols: ditto. What role did Flynn play in these events?
Q15: Your wife says that you were a suspected Israeli spy before you were suspected of colluding with Russia. Is it possible all the FBI spying you say was on Trump in early 2016 was on you and Flynn for your Israeli ties, and after Mifsud was *warranted* given the circumstances?
PS: I'm also happy to have self-described Trump-Russia expert @dbongino answer any of these questions—as his failure to ask them of you during a 67-minute interview a few days ago suggests to me he already knows the answer to every one. The good news—we all want the truth, right?
NOTE1: Papadopoulos may be *right* that Western intel was spying on him pre-April 2016—but if so, it was for reasons wholly unrelated to Trump. Also, it's *possible* they learned of Mifsud's outreach to him—and Kremlin claims of having Clinton emails—from a source other than him.
NOTE2: That is, I *do* think it's possible Papadopoulos never told Downer about Mifsud's email claims. I *don't* in *any* sense think that means the FBI never had any basis to investigate Flynn and Papadopoulos or (post-Mifsud) to try to get Halper to press Papadopoulos for info.
NOTE3: Papadopoulos has transformed a possible lie—Downer saying he heard of the Kremlin's email claims from Papadopoulos—into a) a huge deep-state conspiracy that breaks credulity, and b) a *separate* claim that the FBI *never* had "reasonable suspicion" for *any* investigation.
NOTE4: In retrospect, the FBI had a *million* valid bases for initiating a Trump-Russia collusion investigation—for god's sake, just *pick one* and it's good enough. Partisans like @dbongino have convinced people that if Downer lied, the FBI had *no* basis for suspicion. Uh—what?
NOTE5: Despite his law enforcement background, @dbongino does something competent law enforcement officers *never* do (and even *defense attorneys* would never rest a defense on): he takes a single fact—Downer may have lied—and turns it into *absolute vindication on all charges*.
NOTE6: I think @GeorgePapa19 is telling the *truth* about many of his bizarre meetings, even if his tendency to be hyperbolic in his retellings—as to his diction—would raise major alarm bells for any criminal investigator.

It's his *reading* of these facts that's *off-the-wall*.
