I used to follow an account on here when I first started this one.

Something about it still bothers me to this day. This person had a GoFundMe for their sick child.

Every day they would post a picture of the child holding a sign. /1

Some days the sign would ask for prayers, some days it bragged on the President, but most of the time they’d hold a sign asking for money.

I worried for this child and would send my prayers OFTEN. /2

I talked to this person pretty often to ask about the health of the child.

Soon their money problems became their main focus and kind words offered were met with questions to why people wouldn’t pay up. /3

They started posting pictures of drawings they claimed people were making to make fun of their dying child. Not sure why you’d post those because they said the child read their tweets. I’d keep ANYTHING like that hid from my dying child. /4

I’m not one to immediately doubt the word of someone but others began to question certain things.

I began to wonder myself. Things began to seem a little ‘off’ about the whole deal. /5

I love children and when one gets sick it rips my heart out.

This account is still on here and it’s a really big account. I’d say a lot of you guys follow them, which, to each his own I guess. /6

It seemed to me that some of the anger and arguments they were having with people carried over from Facebook ( friends and family of theirs ) which was quite a bit odd.

If anyone should have your back it’s your family.

Every day these people would have HEATED arguments with people and every day it got worse and worse.

One day they got in trouble and their GoFundMe account was deemed Fraudulent and taken down.

They just started a new one and continued. /8

I used to check on the child and pray for her every day. But more and more people were calling them out and they’d argue with more and more people.

When I started asking about them and offering prayers they would thank me every time and sometimes link their GoFuM. /9

As time went on they quit responding to me. Of course at this time I had doubted them for a while. They would like my response and that was it.

One day out of the blue they said “Our child is dead and we’ve removed all her pictures. We don’t want to hear anything else about it “

It really hit me the wrong way. WHO JUST COMPLETELY ERASES THEIR CHILD AND DEMANDS YOU TO ACT LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED?! /11

They had pushed this and sold it hard core for MONTHS.

I checked their account and not one single peep about this child.

I sent my condolences several times and nothing, not even a like to let me know they read it. /12

The last thing I said to him was I hoped his family was healing and I would continue to pray. Nothing, and this was weeks after the fact.

I can tell you this, they’re still on here and still asking for money. End.

I’m sure some people on here know exactly who I’m talking about.

I’d say I lost a few followers for even questioning them because it’s a big account.

If I lose you for this, just understand......that was the point. That account sucks and I want nothing to do with it.
