/This was a very good election for Democrats, and a very bad one for the GOP. Ds won pop vote by 7-8 pts, got to upper end of House pickups, gained govs and state leg seats and GOP lost critical ground in Southwest and Midwest/Rustbelt. ndn.org/blog/2018/11/g…
/Critically, Dems had best showing ever in emerging electorate. Best ever performance w/18-29s, 18-44s and Asian Americans, 2nd best w/Hispanics. Very promising for 2020 and beyond. medium.com/@Simon_Rosenbe…
/Democrats also adopted Presidential level, candidate driven, digital age politics in Senate, House and down ballot races. This was a critical modernization of the broader Democratic Party, one which made a promising election night a memorable one. ndn.org/blog/2018/10/3…
/Most lasting impact of 2018 election was promotion of an extraordinarily talented new generation of Dem leaders across the country who will guide and shape the Party for years to come. The incoming House class is the most capable we've seen in decades. ndn.org/blog/2018/11/n…
/Not about responding to Trump to anymore. About setting our agenda and fighting in new and modern ways to advance it in the coming years. Exciting time, great election, and want to express my gratitude to the millions of people who stood up, gave their country a better day.
/Pleased that some of our analysis was referenced in this Washington Post story today. Is a very good compliment to previous items in this thread. washingtonpost.com/politics/for-d…
