1/ So @marclamonthill gets fired from CNN 4 advocating a free Palestine & using a phrase that some misinterpreted as a call 4 the destruction of Israel & murder of Jews, but it's OK for Israel's supporters 2 use terms like Judea and Samaria & Eretz Israel...
2/...both of which imply the purging of non-Jews from "Biblical" Israel and the latter of which includes parts of other currently sovereign nations btw. And they are allowed to say "so called Palestinians" which furthers the eliminationist myth that such a group doesn't exist...
3/ So, advocating NO Palestinian state (the official position of Israel's leadership) & even ethnic cleansing of Palestinians (not only in WB and Gaza but Israel proper) is ok apparently, but advocating a 1-state secular democracy (Marc's position as I understand it) is not?...
4/ Even if u think Hill's wording wasn't the best choice, to think he advocates killing Jews or anyone else is absurd. And surely his words are nowhere near as offensive as those Ben Shapiro has said about Palestinians (whom he once advocated purging from ALL of Israel)...
5/ One can agree or disagree with a 1-state solution, or the mechanics of a two-state solution, but to say it's OK to advocate against non-Jews but not OK to advocate FOR them, and that doing the latter makes u an anti-semite is to assassinate language and logic...
