Although when Jacob says "he himself had not run the company's investment policy for years" that's kind of true.
As this policy has to be "aligned" with SCM key clients -which "kind of" suggests they are the one effectively running it.
Who are those key clients?

Now when Rees-Mogg is pushing for a hard brexit -as the ERG Chair- should UK people be concerned that this is exactly what SCM key clients could have asked for?
Or wonder why oh why the ERG's communications were to be sent to Jacob's *SCM* email?
Note: Guy whose company's taxes would lighten the burden for struggling families if said company paid them in the UK is taking a stand against the tax burden for struggling families.
(If the wealthier paid their taxes they'd be no need for struggling family to cover for the loss)
