Epimetheus does amazing videos about ancient history. The ones about the bronze age are imho the most interesting ones. Giant empires, cities with 1M people, all of it destroyed in one giant "end of the world" event

About babylon:
This one is harder to explain why i add it… i just really like @kent_rollins cowboy cooking videos. He is always positive and enjoys his work a lot.

Here is him doing Cowboy Chili

Not Exactly Normal
@dylandubeau does an amazing channel
its name = its program

Example: Inside a Flat Earth Conference
@dylandubeau Bernardo Bacalhau is described as "stoned pewdiepie with no games".

He is at 16k subscribers and every video has a ton more views than that - some up to 250k
His editing is amazing - would be surprised if he isn't at 100k-500k subs very soon

@dylandubeau One more by Bernardo - he has <20k subs - absurdly underappreciated yet given the effort he puts in
(look at the video production)

I bet he has 200k by the end of the year
@dylandubeau Military History is huge on Youtube

This is one of my favorite producers Eastory walks through the eastern front during WWII

Extremely fascinating as we usually only know the high level movie summaries

@dylandubeau Arthur Chichester does a very different kind of travel log. He goes to places rarely visited and gets to know the actual people there… He does this in a very honest and human way.

I love his series on Eastern Europe

Bald and Bankrupt:
The Style Out There series of @conniewang is one of the best fashion / culture editorials on Youtube right now.

Her videos are about identity and the deep (often confusingly interwoven) roots of culture

Her interviews are uniquely human

Highly recommend
@conniewang @ididathing1 does genius videos.

Many of them feel like "post video essay"-video-essays
A critique on the look&feel (and content) of most of youtube.

Example:
Carving a spoon only using a spoon.

Other videos are about making gloves out of bread 🙈🍞🤚
@conniewang @ididathing1 NIck of Indigo Traveller visits countries and gets to know people there.

Countries like Iran, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan and now Venezuela. Unfiltered but without sensationalism. Simply humans meeting humans.
