Two fundamental flaws in claims from those trying to thwart Brexit:

1. There needs to be a compromise between Leave & Remain.

Nope, it was a binary choice in the referendum. Leave won. There wouldn’t have been a compromise option to keep Leavers happy if Remain had won.

2. The personal views of MPs on Brexit matter one iota.

They don’t. MPs voted to give *us* the final say in a referendum and then they voted to trigger Article 50. They didn’t represent the British people’s views on this issue in 2016 and they still don’t in 2018.

And that’s why it doesn’t matter whether MPs voted to Leave in 2016 or whether they think Brexit is a good idea or not. It’s totally irrelevant.

It is their moral duty to the British people - and to democratic principles - to deliver Brexit.
