A thread about stolen words. Words being rendered meaninglessness by an #antisemitic, hard-left, anti-Israel narrative. So driven by blind hatred - that they take ownership of all suffering and trample on the very real abuse felt by hundreds of millions of true victims
Genocide. The Arab population has increased more than tenfold since 1947. A low intensity conflict with casualties on both sides. To call it Genocide is a vile insult to those like Armenia, Darfur, Cambodia, Rwanda and of course the Jews - people who faced real extermination.
Ethnic Cleansing. In just the last few years, millions of people have been displaced in real cases of ethnic cleansing. The Rohingya and Kurds are just two peoples whose suffering is belittled and sidelined by those who have a thirst for hating Jews.
Racism. Israel is to racism what a shelter for women is to sexism. From slavery to modern day examples. 100s of millions of people have suffered real racism that gave no choice and no offering of peace. These victims have their plight rendered valueless by anti-Israel activists.
Apartheid. You felt Apartheid from the moment you stepped in South Africa. A vile system based on white supremacy that drenched every street. It repressed tens of millions of people. To call Israel's democracy 'Apartheid' is an insult to all those who really experienced it.
Child Killers. Anti-Israel activists use 'child-killers' to resurrect classic antisemitic tropes. Over a million Jewish children were murdered in the Holocaust. In Rwanda, young Tutsi boys were explicitly targeted in Rwanda. Horrific genocidal crimes like these are cheapened.
Colonialism. Jews were refugees expelled and unwanted returning to the birthplace of the Jewish people. Several Indigenous people were virtually wiped out by real European colonialism and to use this term on the Jewish people is a disgraceful perversion of history
Anti-Israel activists don't care about real victims of abuse. They make everything about 'Palestine'. Horrors like Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing are watered down. All the real victims would jump at any of the chances the Palestinians have squandered to live in peace. It's enough.
