Because the single greatest political threat facing our extraordinary, irreplaceable NHS is Brexit. (1/8)
The NHS, as you’ll know, is short of 42k nurses & 10k doctors – and Brexit is driving more away. All of us have wonderful EU colleagues & friends who, with a heavy heart, have quit the NHS they loved. (2/8)

1. This, from the govt, is astonishingly disingenuous.

2. Just before Christmas, @MattHancock sneaked out No Deal Brexit guidance *ordering* NHS staff to “reassure” patients (link below).

3. We shall do no such thing. We are doctors, not spin doctors, & we have grave concerns.
It disgusts me that @theresa_may is playing fast and loose with my patients’ lives by threatening a No Deal Brexit that we know would severely imperil the medicines supply chain.

Even @MattHancock has refused to rule out patient deaths in the event of No Deal.

Appalling.

In fact, the creak of a turning world was irrelevant. But arriving husbands, wives, children, parents, friends, colleagues, loved ones? Boy oh boy, were they important. (2/10)

Important to remember as we go past the 90 days mark till March 29 and Brexit day that despite all the smoke & mirrors, noise & misinformation from both Labour Leadership & the Hard Brexiters there's only 3 options on the table:
2) those 3 #Brexit options are:
1) No deal - crash out & a mad scramble to get ourselves together
2) Theresa May's deal - rule taker not rule maker,horrendous fudge that tried to please everyone & ended up pleasing no-one
3) Remain - stay in the EU under exactly the same benefits
3) There are no other #Brexit options, no time to negotiate them & no interest from the EU27 in tweaking or changing the Brexit deal, anyone who says otherwise is simply lying - there is no "Better Brexit deal".

March 2018: Even before the #PeoplesVote campaign launched, the groups that today support the campaign all moved into the same shared campaign office, as together, we are stronger
April 2018: the launch of the #PeoplesVote campaign was attended by over 1,500 people & had top actor @SirPatStew talk about why he backed a #PeoplesVote.

So now the latest Corbynista gambit us to pretend there is a choice between a General election and stopping #brexit this is a completely false alternative
It is then claimed that in wanting to stop #brexit you are in some way callously allowing the homeless to die and are therefore evil
The fact that there probably isn't going to be a general election is seemingly no excuse. Nor is the fact that Soubry Grieve Heidi Allen and Co aren't going to back a no confidence motion but would back a #PeoplesVote if corbyn backed it is no excuse either

Last Saturday, I marched alongside 700 000 people for a #PeoplesVote with a Final Say and an option to remain. It was such an incredible experience that I was still smiling the next day. And now I joined the @LibDems /1
Coming from a working class family, I'd always been Labour, whether in Germany or here in the UK didn't matter. Until I realised that @jeremycorbyn had done exactly what I'd been raging about concerning the prominent Brexit campaigners. /2
.@jeremycorbyn had been lying and @UKLabour did and still does nothing. There are still a lot of Labour MPs I consider decent, not to mention the over 80% of Labour members who also want a #PeoplesVote. I say decent on purpose because #Brexit is a deeply indecent concept. /3
