Wikipedia edit histories sometimes throw up some interesting information. For the uninitiated, anyone can edit a Wikipedia page but it will get vetted & corrected at times even by bots. PR gurus or even interested parties themselves often curate pages to avoid negative entries 1/
The information on the page looks a little curious and perhaps overly positive (seriously who cares about the Kasco group?). In fact the page is tagged as having “issues”. 3/

Besides finding people / users such as fenechtonio who seems to be a @PL_Malta stooge essentially curating pages such as @KonradMizzi’s, @JosephMuscat_Jm’s etc en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C… some other names stand out 5/
When #PanamaPapers came out & @Keithaschembri’s company was exposed, a Wikipedia page with his name was created 6/

Along comes a user with a fake name VivaPN and wipes the article 8/
A look at VivaPN’s edits include curating Konrad Mizzi’s page & adding “controversies” to opposition members pages: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C… but this is relatively “normal” in hyper-partisan circles (though why Konrad & Keith seem to be the most curated is anyone’s guess, not) 9/
The article gets rebuilt and user NevBorg with a passion for culture & what comes across as a dislike for Marlene Farrugia for quitting government benches thinks adding a glowing section on Kasco Group, @keithaschembri’s empire is relevant 10/
The article is built further. Then along comes a user called Abdallah23 whose activity seems to be just deleting any references to Panama Papers from Keith Schembri’s page. He did this 12 times before being blocked: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C… 11/
Besides being a curious sounding name Abdallah for a person so concerned about Keith Schembri’s reputation, the user also added a chunk of new information on Kasco Group. Considerate. 12/
Along comes another user Abuanon whose entire history of edits is just curating Konrad Mizzi & Keith Schembri’s pages en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C… and tweaks the wording again. 13/
Fenechtonio then takes over quite helpfully to add juicy things like how loved Keith is for all the “investment” he attracted 14/

It would be interesting to determine why users with such curious names are obsessed with Keith Schembri’s wikipedia page & whether perhaps the search might be easier than you think 18/
