🔥Much press coverage was prev given to claim Cohen met w/Russians in Prague, but press has failed to spot a MAJOR point in redacted doc today:

Press like @TPM and @CNBC are failing to spot disclosure of the TIMING of this meeting, & claiming this legal doc does not say when it occurred. They appear to be looking at the cut-&-paste redacted bit in isolation, & failing to consider the context in which it is placed -👇/2

To be clear, Manafort is claiming that the reason he didn't remember meeting with the Russian(s) in Madrid, is because during the time frame that this meeting occurred, he was super-busy RUNNING TRUMP'S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN! 🤣/3

Which raises a question - if he was so busy, what was Trump's Campaign Mgr doing, during the heat of the campaign, traveling across the world to Madrid, Spain, to meet w/a Russian affiliated w/GRU? (same Russian Intel agency that hacked DNC & stole Hillary's E-MAILs) 🤔/4

During this same time frame, the doc reveals he was also discussing with this same Russian the "Ukrainian peace plan". Like "Adoptions", this plan was an attempt to undo Russian sanctions. We have heard of this plan before, but only in the context of AFTER the election… /5

But this happened DURING election.
To be clear - during the 2016 Election, Trump's Campaign Manager was talking with the Russian(s) about undoing the sanctions against Russia! 🤨
There's your quid pro quo.
But that's not the best bit… /6

The doc reveals that, during the election, Manafort was sharing "polling data" related to the presidential campaign with the Russian(s). But why? What purpose would sharing such data with the Russians serve?
And here's the bombshell… /7

The Russians could use this data to adjust & fine-tune their targeting (subject-matter, geographic, demographic, etc.), & to optimize their efforts to interfere with/influence the 2016 Presidential Election in Trump's favor.

In other words, during the election, it looks like Trump's Campaign Mgr may have been actually HELPING the Russians - by providing them with the data they needed, to help swing the election to Trump. WOW.

during 2016 election, Trump's Campaign Mgr -
*Met w/the Russian(s) in Madrid, Spain
(Same guy tied to intel agency that hacked DNC)
*Talked w/Russian about plan to undo sanctions
*Provided data Russia could use to help sway election

Also noticed in doc - DESPITE saying disagrees w/Mueller that he broke deal, he doesn't want a hearing, but instead wants dispute handled in Presentence Report. The catch? That report is SECRET - we will never see it!
He's STILL trying to hide the truth f/American public! 😡 /12
