2/ There seems to be a bit of a time lapse as most of the articles on Trump's involvement in the #OperationGreenfield scandal are published on Portuguese, and not English.
3/ Before we go further, we must note that Trump's Rio hotel business partner, Paulo Figueiredo Jr. is the "scion of a right-wing political family — his grandfather was Brazil’s last dictatorship-era president" and a staunch Trump supporter.
4/ by 10 pm on Oct 27 the story of Trump's direct association with the corruption & scandal in Brazil hit the Reuters wire in English.
5/ Curiously, the next morning, October 28th, is when James Comey decided to publish his letter about Hillary's emails. 
6/ by 11:45 pm on the 28th @viaCristiano at @politico had done in depth reporting on Trump's latest scandal associated with foreign business partners & government entities.
7/ What was big news about Trump in Brazil & in Portuguese, was mostly ignored in the USA.

8/ Many incorrectly now associate Trump's "grab them by the ..." Access Hollywood tape with the Comey letter, but it was released a full 3 weeks prior on October 7th.
9/ This reply to the @politico story on Trump's ties to corruption in Brazil seemed to sum up perfectly what was happening.
10/ Even more interesting was that pro-Trump rallies we're being planned in multiple cities of Brazil for the Saturday right after this news broke.

12/ As the head of the FBI, it is very likely Comey knew about this investigation in Brazil, at least by October 26th, if not much sooner.
