Just want to address the dismissal of “but her emails.” Yes, it was a BS story, but it furthered the narrative of the Clintons as not being able to walk three feet without wandering into a scandal. It fed Clinton fatigue.
We can argue that the media should’ve ignored an FBI investigation, esp. a BS one, but the larger problem was that if furthered a damaging narrative.
The Warren situation furthers a bad narrative for her. Ignoring it won’t make it go away.
And to HRC’s credit, she herself put the email situation on the front page intentionally before he campaign launch, as Warren did with the DNA announcement.
