1. I appreciate the research. Your statistics are correct, but some crucial information is missing. Most states relied on a death certificate form from 1989 that didn't ask about pregnancies.
2. In 2003, a revised form that specifically asked if a woman was pregnant within a year, or during her death, or if she died within 42 days of the termination of a pregnancy was included. States slowly changed to the new form. You can probably see where this is going, right.
3. At any rate, the rate is larger than it should be and needs to be addressed. My issue wasn't with the statistic, but with Clinton's vapid use of it to justify murdering innocent, defenseless, viable human beings; for which there is no valid moral argument.
