3. I'm disappointed in my country & industry for becoming so tribal & infantile that the public can no longer trust #CDNpoli & #CDNmedia to convey the facts RE #SNCLavalin & criminal bribery allegations

Lets begin with the fact this behaviour occurred under both Libs & Tories

4. Then lets address the fact that doing business with dictators won't ever mesh with #CDNpoli Rule of Law, because dictators don't respect the tenets of democracy

The real problem facing Canada is the hypocrisy to allow these practices, then crying foul over the fine details

5. The fact is, no biz was permitted in #Libya unless it paid a kickback to the Gaddafi regime & if anyone bothered to investigate without bias, they would find that #SNCLavalin wasn't the only company to engage in what the West calls bribery

It shines a light on the disconnect between our foreign policy & justice policy & the glaring conflict between those standards

We've just turned a blind eye to the inner workings of business in conflict zones because we have few corporations growing our presence & credit value globally

14. The fact is, the info about #SNCLavalin lobbying Liberals, Conservatives & NDP about the bribery charges against them was always available - to reporters & the public at large #CDNpoli #CDNmedia

It could have been discovered by anyone in the entire world in 5 minutes or less

Ex Attorney General, Jody Wilson-Raybould, is making a mess of this manufactured #SNCLavalin scandal

Since when can a govt minister claim attorney-client privilege to hide lobbying the AG??!!

21. Ex Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould did nothing wrong by receiving lobbyists from #SNCLavalin as the Justice Minister of #CDNpoli

But claiming attorney-client privilege as the govt's lawyer to avoid disclosing those meeting details denies she was elected democratically

22. Fact is, #CDNpoli is facing another conundrum through the roles of Attorney General & Justice Minister

Either Jody Wilson-Raybould was elected & must report #SNCLavalin lobbying interests to the public - OR - she was hired privately by the govt as the govt's general counsel

'Whose lawyer is the Attorney General?' is the real question we should ask

But #CDNmedia is too consumed with the partisan tribal warfare
