Trump says walls got a bad rep because other walls were less attractive than his are: "It was crazy what they were putting up. In fact, I happen to think that the walls they were building were so unattractive and so ugly that walls got bad names. OK? If that means anything."
Trump with a novel use of "lame duck": "We have a chance to really make a deal, a real deal with China. We've never been in this position before. We've always been the - the lame duck. And we're not the lame duck anymore. We've gone up tremendously in value as a country."
Trump: "I could live receiving billions and billions of dollars a month from China [U.S. importers pay the tariffs]. China never gave us 10 cents [there were tariffs on China before, including high-profile tariffs imposed by Obama]."
Trump says he's generally not inclined to show flexibility on the March 1 deadline with China, but if they're getting close to a "real deal," he could let it slide for "a little while."
Here is Trump's proposal for a parade or non-parade:

South Korea has agreed to pay the US $924 million per year for the US troop presence there, up from $830 million this year. Trump said again today, "They agreed to pay yesterday $500 million more toward their defence."
