1. This week marked the 40th anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution. But what is Iran doing in Canada? globalnews.ca/news/4948429/c…
2. According to Canada Revenue Agency auditors, a charity may have been set up in Toronto in 1994 to spread Iranian revolutionary ideology.
3. Charity auditors have repeatedly raised concerns the Toronto group was acting as the Canadian branch of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly in Tehran, which is tight with the regime and headed by the "operational father" of Hezbollah.
4. The Islamic Shia Assembly of Canada's founder can be seen in photos with Canadian MPs, MPPs and cabinet ministers.
5. The CRA has revoked the group's charity status, partly on the grounds it was "acting as a facilitator organization to support the operational goals" of the ABWA on Tehran. apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/haip/srch…
6. A lawyer for the ex-charity denied the allegations in a statement to @globalnews.

3. Jordan has now agreed to let him return on the strength of his expired passport. (He has refused to cooperate with CBSA's attempt to get him to sign the papers to get a new one.)

1. In September 2014, ISIS released this execution video, featuring a narrator speaking in what sounded like a Canadian accent.
2. His identity remained a mystery, and then last fall @AmarAmarasingam and myself interviewed a captured Canadian ISIS fighter who said the narrator was from Ontario and went by Abu Ridwan.
3. Subsequently, the open source research group @iBRABO_com began trying to figure out where the video was filmed, since it was a crime scene, possibly containing evidence needed to prosecute the Canadian.

1. Yesterday, I asked several moderators of the Yellow Vests Canada Facebook group, which has >100,000 members & has become a platform for talk of killing Trudeau, to comment.
2. One of them responded & I will post what he said in case it offers insights into what this group is about. He starts here by pointing the finger at Antifa.
3. Then he claims CSIS "may be" the posting the Trudeau death threats on the Yellow Vests Canada page.

“Many of the views expressed by the organization’s speakers are misogynistic, homophobic, racist and/or promote violence,” the @CanRevAgency Charities Branch wrote in a letter sent to the mosque president.
It means the mosque no longer benefits from the #tax advantages enjoyed by government-registered charities. Foremost, it cannot issue receipts allowing donors to claim their contributions as income tax deductions.
