What does Sean Hannity want next after President Trump gave him the national emergency declaration?

He's got a list of Trump enemies -- including Hillary Clinton -- that he'd like new AG William Barr to investigate.

And he may be getting his way. "My sources telling me tonight things are happening as we speak," he said last night.

How this is going to work: Hannity, Dobbs, Pirro and co will keep pushing for Barr to investigate Trump's enemies. If he does, they win. If he doesn't, they will attack him every night until they turn Trump against him, which is what happened with Sessions.

A reminder: This is what Logan said in 2013 in apologizing for the retracted report that @mmfa had criticized. Now she says we smeared her, and that "nothing that was said about me in the wake of that was true."

Hiring a political operative with no journalism experience as a commentator, as a host, as a reporter, and as an editor overseeing reporters are all different things that generally lead to different responses.
The first three are at least somewhat common. The last, as far as I know, is not. If it is as well, people should provide examples of it, rather than examples of the first three.
The boring take is the accurate one: Particular people will criticize particular hires to particular positions based on particular circumstances.

As someone who has defended Bob Mueller’s integrity from the start, I’ve thought about this a lot. Just as it was emphatically not James Comey’s business to hold a solo news conference to announce why he did not seek to indict Hillary, Mueller should learn from that mistake.
It is not the FBI’s job and not the independent cousel’s job to shield, protect or otherwise do the job of the Attorney General. Obama’s AG should have decided whether or not to indict Hillary and then handled the consequences.
The new AG, William Barr, doesn’t have the baggage of being part of the investigation. It will be a test of his independence & judgment. But that’s the job. I hope he discloses as much as possible, recognizing parts of this are a counter-intell probe that typically remain secret.

#Trump's last campaign rally of the 2018 mid-term election season is scheduled to start in about ten minutes. It's his THIRD rally of the day. Dude is likely exhausted and I doubt this rally will be less "speech" and more "incoherent tirade".
