I see @jessphillips is on the telly yet again, issuing ultimatums to Jeremy Corbyn. Get over yourself, Jess. You're not that important. He'd probably be glad to get rid of you. And since when has the Palestinian flag been antisemitic? Joan Ryan isn't even Jewish. #c4news
I mean, how many times has Jeremy Corbyn said antisemitism has no place in the Labour Party? He's said it so many times, it's getting boring. Corbyn can't be held responsible for trolls who aren't even Labour members. Less than 0.1% of 500,000 members is not a crisis.
I wonder how many of the lynch mob will still be in the Labour Party this time next week.

Coincidentally, today's Observer has a front page story suggesting 6 "centrist" Labour MPs are ready to resign from the party, presumably as a precursor to forming a new centrist party with various disgruntled Tories and Lib Dems. More fishy. 2/7
Coincidentally, today's Observer also has an op-ed by @JamesEnders, CEO of Opinium, in which he claims there is a reservoir of untapped support for a new centrist party. At the bottom of the op-ed, it states Endersby is on the advisory board of Progressive Centre UK. Fishier. 3/7

In early 2018 a furore occurred over an #AntiSemitic Mural.. #Corbyn was criticised for responding to a Facebook post by street artist, Mear One, in 2012, which asked why the image faced destruction. Corbyn apologised and provided an explanation goo.gl/aHvNWY
The #BBC published his apology and explanation on the 23/03/2018 on the 25/03/18 Rebecca Hilsenrath CEO of the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Retweeted the comment in the image without clarification. Is this someone who is truly independent?

When the £ falls in value against the $ & the Euro, the price of food we import from USA & EU rises, purely because you get ...
... fewer dollars and Euros to the pound.

You may be familiar with this concept, Grace, if you've ever been on holiday abroad, perhaps for a spot of skiing, at a time of currency fluctuations and had to exchange the £ for the Euro and then back again.
A general rise in prices, Blakeley, is what economists call inflation.

Ah, you say, but we were only talking about food.

True, but oil is priced in dollars so when the £ falls in value against dollar then, for example. the cost of transporting goods goes up across the economy.

Yesterday late afternoon #Russia/n forces took 3 positions in Qusseyr and Juseh and established checkpoints. #Hezbollah, not informed of the Russian presence, came close to these forces and asked their immediate pull out+
Following the direct intervention of President Bashar al-Assad, the Russian force pulled out this morning and avoided any clash with #Hezbollah in the area.

hezbollah maantin and kept all positions. The #Russia/n move was not coordinated.+

#Hezbollah did not...I repeat, did not pull out one single element from the area.

I spoke to people on the ground: The Russian decision was unclear and considered unwelcome by the forces on the ground. Still, many elements of this move are unclear.
