Did the Telegraph actually do ANY research on this 'experts & death threats from vapers' thing? Did they genuinely just take these guys at their word cos they are 'experts' without looking at what happened? I can't bring myself to read it, it's horrible...

..it really wouldn't have taken much to find out what McKee, Chapman etc have done, how they've behaved. Is FPH suspending Ashton over his behaviour a secret? What about the #MeToo protests over Stanton Glantz? These are not good men!..

..moreover it's been YEARS since anyone could contact them yet they have continued to maintain their victimhood. Why? We've never been able to stop them, argue back, respond to accusations & lies. They still trawl the feeds of ppl they've blocked. They still mock & sneer..

That exact group of men made us so toxic that every bit of UNPAID advocacy we did a million times harder cos ppl in Public Health believed were were vicious, nasty, liars in the pay of the tobacco industry. Some to talk to us IN SECRET fgs...

The behaviour of McKee, Glantz, Chapman, Daube, Bareham, Ireland & especially Ashton was & remains appaling. They are bullies that have sought to silence harm reduction voices with whatever means possible. They've slandered us...

Not just us - members of the public - but academics too. They've trolled, demeaned & belittled anyone who doesn't agree with them in public, journals, newspapers & closed socme groups. They enlisted journalists to spread their tripe unquestioningly...

And they get away with it. They are still getting away with it. I know a lot of ppl can laugh off their obvious desperation, but they are grotesque bullies who are knowingly causing population level harm...

Real, tangible harm that will result in otherwise avoidable early deaths of current & future smokers.

And I still don't understand why.

And now I'm going to have Lucky Charms for breakfast cos I'm 40 & I can.
