two years of Clinton-Lewinsky coverage on network TV news: 2,500 mins. two years of Trump scandal coverage: 1,700 mins
at minimum, Trump scandals deserve 3,4, or 5 times more coverage than Clinton-Lewinsky received—not LESS coverage
FIXED: press likes to say there’s scandal fatigue under Trump as way to explain why some coverage is lacking —trust me there was no fatigue during Clinton 90s.

i noted this earlier this week, idea that many voters are going to care abt Biden policy from 40+ yrs ago are slim. (I don’t make the rules folks!) voters barely care abt policy from 4 yrs ago; washingtonpost.com/politics/biden…
I.e. can anyone point to a presidential campaign that was tripped up bc of quotes or votes from 40+ yrs earlier?
I don’t think the primary will be a referendum on the Biden ‘70s or the Sanders ‘80s. I just don’t think that’s what voters care abt—we’ll see!
