This thread is for you, @adannyboy! And for me because media reports keep not matching up to court docs and inmate databases so I wanted to see what was up. Highlights from @MartinFLSheriff warrants issued in February.
1. On 7/6/18, Martin Co. "formally initiated a prostitution investigation" based on report from Dept of Health's Karen inspection on 7/3 (also involved with Jupiter and Indian River Co). See image (excuse my poor quality edits). 
2. Homeland Security Investigations served a notice of inspection on 7/16/18 and got I-9s that hadn't been filed. The forms they got back didn't match the employees Karen had met earlier in the month.
3. As with other jurisdictions, Martin Co. did: surveillance outside (7/6-8/27/18 at spa #1, 10/15-10/30/18 at #2), trash pulls, traffic stops to question customers, bank records, combed ad/review sites.
4. Got a "break order" from 19th Judicial Circuit and installed video-only surveillance cameras inside, filming at #1 9/28-10/14/18 and #2 11/2-11/20/18.
5. Interestingly, Martin Co. devoted more page count to racketeering and laundering allegations than prostitution. One affiant is listed with training in human trafficking investigations. This is the only mention of trafficking in these warrants.
6. One of the women was in prison last week when I looked, but now she's not in that inmate database any more. But nothing on the clerk of court changed. ... idk 🤷🏼♀️
