Yes, there are some economic difficulties in Venezuela (caused largely by an economic war waged by the US and right-wing opposition). But I still did not see many homeless people there

I didn't see a single person eat out of the garbage over nearly 4 weeks in Venezuela. But I saw multiple people eat out of the garbage my first day back in NYC

I also saw more homeless people my first day back here than in all my time in Venezuela

The hypocrisy is breathtaking
The US is the world's richest country and largest empire, but has enormous numbers of homeless and hungry people

Venezuela is a formerly colonized country suffering under a crippling economic war, but still deals with these problems *exponentially better*
