5) Nowhere are there details on how compliance will be rigorous monitored. Is a doctors note really good enough? Surely not. "permit their GP to disclose sufficient information to UKA to allow it to ascertain that hormone therapy has been administered in a verifiable manner".
6) How will the GP be expected to meaningfully show that they have "minimised any gender-related advantages". Surely their female competitors deserve better verification standards than this?
7) Hormone treatment should be "Annually verified". If a female athlete was found to have high Testosterone for 1 day they would be considered doping cheats. Annual verification is simply inadequate. Compliance issues have been ignored.
8) These trans rules have taken no account of how to ensure fair competition for the female athletes. Nor have they considered compliance and monitoring. This is why consultation with experts in female sport should have been involved from the start. Bad policy helps no one.
