Brexit has shown there are genuinely decent upstanding Tories, just as it has revealed the responsible adults in Labour and other parties. But I can't help but direct my ire at the Tory Party because they are the Government. The situation is too dire for nuance.
So to the decent MPs, I say this gently: When you look in the mirror, if you think, however fleetingly "I feel ashamed to be a Tory right now" why not DO something about it? There has never been a more propitious time to gather with like-minded souls regardless of old allegiances
Tear down the system, and build something new and wonderful in its place. A new kind of politics, driven by outcomes not by rigid party structures, in which collaboration and opposition come on a policy by policy basis, not as a matter of rigid obligation. If not now, when?
