1-This afternoon, a member of my family approached me with a copy of a NY newspaper in his hands that contained a headline saying "NO collusion, NO obstruction" (the 'nos' were in red) shoved it in my face & smugly asked me, "WHAT does this say?"
2-..a member of my family who is aware not only of my politics, but that I write about politics for a living.. Let's just call it awkward, I reacted quickly, grabbed my things & immediately left. Other than his behavior, what shocked me was my reaction.
3-I am far angrier than I'd realized. We're all struggling to put this into context, but we need to be more aware than usual that our emotions are likely off the wall.. I got so pissed-esp after an afternoon spent listening to talk of healthcare being removed
4- & Trump's latest threats to the #FreePress-that it scared me-this feels hopeless, but it's not. We are GOING to get Trump out of our house on 11/3/20.
5- This incident has increased my resolve to work my ass off during the election ten-fold. I hope that you're all thinking hard about what you can do to help #GOTV in the coming months. NO more..! . #TuesdayThoughts
