.@RepSpeier: Today’s attack on @RepAdamSchiff to resign was orchestrated by the White House. Trump tweeted it. Republicans signed a letter then spent hearing time not talking abt Russian interference but attacking the Chair. It was reprehensible. I’ve never seen anything like it.
🔥🎯@RepSpeier: Trump campaign did engage w/ Russian efforts. The remedy is for Congress to get serious about our voting systems. Only 4 companies provide the hardware & software. They’re porous & hackable. All European countries now use #PaperBallots. We must too.

The Skripal poisoning in UK woke the West to Russian intelligence services' assassinations, frequent in Ukraine, where teams of hit men from Russia operate freely.
This killer, recruited at a weapons expo in Moscow, killed a man for a Mercedes van, $5000, & a sushi dinner.
Having fought in Ukraine w/ Russian mercenaries, he wanted to go to Syria—to earn money. When that fell thru, the killer said his Wagner contact introduced him to FSB handlers. He was thrilled & saw it a job in Russia's Interior Ministry. He thought, only a few years to pension.

1. The @GOP have to be looking at the polling data and holding their breath. The @realDonaldTrump white supremacist base may never care that @Trump conspired with #Russia. But an overwhelming majority of Americans do care. #Barr may have overplayed Trump's hand and

Every trial lawyer knows you don't want to let the jury see your client get caught in a big lie. For better or worse, Barr is acting like Trump's own attorney and he walked Trump out on
3. a limb by manipulating a quote from #MuellersReport to cleverly say there was no collusion. But anyone who knows the relevant federal laws knows that Trump campaign committed numerous crimes related to Russia. Going to, & then not reporting, June 9 meeting were two fed crimes.

#Russia is absolutely violating the #INFTreaty. If @RusEmbUSA is counting on the @StateDept to not provide evidence on this one, I bet they’re going to be very disappointed. But the real issue is #China… who isn’t a party to the treaty & who must be included in any new one.
… moreover, #Putin is a bonafide expert on missiles (& on #MissileDefense). If you speak Russian, this video shows him demonstrating his expert-level knowledge of these systems, particularly on #Romania’s #NATO Missile Defense System, a #Bush/#Obama plan.
… the truth is that #Russia’s flagrant violations of the #INFTreaty are a response to our #MissileDefense plans… which of course will only make use pursue such defenses even faster, & so on. Here’s another video where he threatens “retaliation.”
