Bookmark this from UNLV professor @batesunlv on the @lawfareblog site for when you have time. Bates goes into depth on the Watergate experience and what it tells us about release of Robert Mueller's report. There are some important lessons here. lawfareblog.com/road-map-impea…
2. One is that release of grand jury evidence presents genuinely difficult issues, many of which confronted the Leon Jaworski-led investigation of Watergate as well. There are good reasons not to make public information about people a grand jury decides not to indict.
3. On the other hand, there are other, perhaps even stronger reasons not to keep under wraps information pertaining to a President presumed by Justice Department policy to be immune from indictment. This came up during the Watergate investigation as well.

2. First, Warren’s main target is consolidation in agribusiness. This is consistent with her general orientation toward stronger enforcement of anti-trust laws. Corporate mergers and domination of market sectors by individual companies are a factor in farmers’ lives.
3. Is consolidation a uniformly negative factor? No. Is it central to the consolidation of agriculture (that is, the decades-long trend toward fewer, larger farms)? Also no — well, maybe for poultry it is. But consolidation in agribusiness tends to benefit front offices...

OK, just one comment on Robert Mueller's report. The whole thing needs to be made public, and as soon as possible. Short thread.
2. A Russian intelligence operation to influence an American Presidential election, and secure a potentially compromised American President, is a grave matter. There are Americans willing to accept such a thing, it is true. One of them is the President himself.
3. Another may be the Attorney General. The rules pertaining to establishment of the Special Counsel's Office called on Attorney General Barr to send a summary of Mueller's report to Congress, and he has done so. We have his word that he summarized Mueller's evidence fairly...

#Barr says “nothing could be more dangerous than political interference” in an investigation. But also says it’s completely fine for a president to fire US attorneys for political reasons “because they’re political appointments” 🤔
#Barr: It would be a crime for president Trump to promise a pardon in exchange for a person not incriminating him in an investigation.

.@HallieJackson @maddow on #Mueller report. I distinctly recall OSC said report was to be limited to obstruction. Obstruction was clear but what I think is coming & US AG has no say: NY State computer fraud, kidnapping & money laundering charges.

IMO Mueller charges treason.
I had noticed an artifact in both Russian related Mueller cases. The Russian Defendants viewed their actions as making war on US. If defendants agreed to that conspiracy, IMO, they violated the first clause of 18 USC 2381: "levies war against [the United States]."
To make a case I'd want evidence Trump & crew knew that was Russians' goal. Perhaps intercepts will prove Trump knew it. If so @Trump will face impeachment on treason charges plus 32 states have treason statutes. @realDonaldTrump needs to cut a deal for immunity & resign. Soon.

1. The Agreement approaches the conflict as a border Anything Anything that changes the nature of that border & relationship between UK & Ireland poses a challenge for the Agreement.
2. The EU is vital environment and model for the Agreement. No coincidence that British and Irish Govts declared their support for it 'as partners in the EU'. Need to minimise disruption to that environment to facilitate Agreement's implementation.
