I don't know what some of you are disputing. Are you disputing Wall Street backs Democrats? Because they do. HRC got 80.8% of the total $108,807,888 via securities and finance. In 2018, Democrats got 62.8% of the total $91,338,283.
Even if Wall Street sits out 2020 because Bernie is the Democratic nominee, which they won't, it still leaves oodles on the table. While Trump raised more than all the top-tiers combined, it's not uncommon for big donors to hold their wallets early in a primary.
If you add hauls from ALL of the Democratic candidates, no matter what stage of the game they are in, it's more than Trump's haul at around $75M.
