Attempt to impeach Trump will convince his base (& many others) that US regime elites are determined to remove him by any means. He should be removed by election. For that Dems need a winning program. But @SpeakerPelosi elites still prefer losing to Trump than winning with Bernie
Impeachment would almost certainly fail, handing Trump yet another huge victory. It would be a massive distraction and self-inflicted wound for Democrats, like the 3-year #Russiagate hoax. It’s time for people to stop these delusions.
But suppose impeachment by some miracle succeeded? The result is President Pence. How anyone thinks that is preferable to Trump is beyond my comprehension.
There is a route to remove Trump: a progressive candidate offering real transformative policies: Medicare for all, free public college, etc. But the class interests of Democrat elites and big donors are against that and aligned with Trump. So likely gonna be 4 more years of Trump
Just imagine what would be possible if the Democrat establishment and media put all their efforts into promoting truly progressive policies and candidates instead of undermining, cheating and sabotaging them.
