This last matters because almost the only folks who even have a landline in the US are either over 60 or are/have a medium to large business.
That means the % you contacted via landline WILL skew heavily for the establishment candidates & issue views rather than progressive ones

This opinion steering is very real and it's accomplished by using herd mentality by claiming "everyone agrees" when in fact they may vehemently disagree with the asserted position .
