@BuzzFeed @BuzzFeedBen @prioritiesUSA

I think you have some serious explaining to do.

SERIOUS.

New Thread.

2 @dailycaller did a nice piece in 2018 about Democrats supposed deal with Buzzfeed to utilize their data for targeted ads, but we need another look.

(additional links within)

Here is the article:

amp.dailycaller.com/2018/05/06/buz…
3 One glaring problem is the timing - Priorities USA dropped $1m dollars on August 4, 2016

* Just a few days after the start of Crossfire Hurricane
* There’s no other direct spend on ads remotely close to this large

Sept 28th there is another $500k

👉🏻$1.5m Total Direct Spend👈🏻
4 The much larger problem is - where are the ads? If we follow criteria from @dailycaller article & time-frame of spending, this is an example:

“The Ultimate Guide To Not Being A Shitty Human”

... where the ad talks about karma & white wine. 🤔
5 The ‘political ad’ gives out 13 tips on how to not be ‘shitty’ - Hilda & Pelosi Style.

Here is another one that contains wine - looks like a burgundy.

This is the heavy hitting data & targeted ads $1.5m gets on Sept 27, 2016?

buzzfeed.com/moreofthis/the…
6 Despite that being the ‘shittiest’ political ad I have EVER seen, we know we can attribute it to Priorities USA - we know, bc at the very bottom is shows:

“More Of This” as a trademark for Priorities USA - if not for that, I’d see no reason to attribute.
7 But it raises other questions with other ads by “More Of This”:

“11 Recipes To Show Someone How You Really Feel”

A real *Bra Burner* of an ad campaign for Oct 4, 2016... 🤣

buzzfeed.com/moreofthis/11-…
7 But what is funny, or stupid, is this:

* No way ‘pulled pork’ would make it past MN these days 😂
* When you click on the link it gives a redirect to somewhere else

Is this a political ad campaign or is this a click-bait fundraiser?
8 But even worse, if you can believe it, it says (at the bottom) that “More Of This” is being used by “Women Vote” (aka Emily’s List).

While there is reporting that Emily’s List spend on ads... it sure as hell doesn’t show up the on FEC databases.

Sharing freaking Trademarks?
9 BUT... quick reminder:

FEC.GOV literally only shows three direct spends.

WTF is happening here, folks?
Quick Review:

* Largest TWO Direct Spends in FEC records for ad spending - several times larger than ANYONE
* “Ads” are ridiculous & stupid
* click-bait scheme 🤷🏻‍♂️
* Inconsistent use of ‘More Of This’ trademark
* Emily’s List doesn’t show any direct spending to Buzzfeed.
10 At this point it’s probably a good time to point out that I ran trademark searches for “More Of This” and couldn’t find a damn thing.

Since I’m not trying to be the best at TM searches:

* Check for yourself
* I’m calling BS until I see otherwise

11 If we were to assume, for the sake of humor, that Priorities USA paid $1.5m for “Shitty Ads”... here is what we’re looking at in TIMELINE:

Yellow Box = $1m Payment
Red Box = $500k Payment

... it is THAT “Shitty”!

Most of it occurred too late in game to be effective!
12 If you run a search on ALL of the ads from “More of This” on Buzzfeed’s website, here are some more of the Winner’s that $1.5m will get you.

Note: During $1.5m payment time period!

• Free To Love
• Food For Thoughtfulness
• ... coming out

Are these ppl even serious?!
13 If you try to explore ‘More Of This’ any further, through BuzzFeed or otherwise...

GOOD. LUCK.

There’s a facebook page tho... about their partnership.

Speaking of - who even needs BuzzFeed’s data when we know full well Dems had FB Gravy Train?

m.facebook.com/23820556286601…
14 Here are some more beauties - this is what they want you to believe $1.5m gets you as the election is coming down to the wire!

Check the ads yourself - you tell me what you think:

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
15 There are so many problems, but I am going to leave it at this (4 now):

* BuzzFeed 👈🏻 $1.5m gets you BS click-bait
* Priorities USA needs to explain the situation with the TM
* Emily’s List needs to report spending

... is this what $1.5m was about?

buzzfeednews.com/article/kenben…
16 Hilda isn’t the only one with explaining to do - NO ONE pays $1.5m for that kind of BS in late October!

If so, then this 2xwide-Original entitled “Up In The Club” is worth AT LEAST $10m.

[To Be Continued...]
@RealMattCouch @themarketswork @T_S_P_O_O_K_Y @MichaelRCaputo

Is this really what $1.5 m gets you in the final stretch of a campaign? 🤣
