FBI counterterrorist translator arrested for lying to federal agents in 2016. Seems he failed to notify the FBI that the 'unidentified subject' a terrorist under FISA was leaving a voicemail for was in fact the translator!

Very interesting case indeed, but finally breaking now. Remained an FBI translator working on terrorism cases througg 2015 while his own children were on the No Fly List & at one point blocked entry to the US in 2010.

Wondering if contracted translators were among the groups of contractors who had FISA access beyond what they needed as outlined in the FISC 2017 99 page ruling?

I hate when I find something so big that I know I'll never have time to research it properly. Fortunately, I am sure other people in this corner of Twitter may have already researched pieces of it. IT security issues with GSA leasing, you don't say... #ButNothingsHappening
2 weeks ago I did a thread on a group that was investing in leasing of space to GSA contracts for office space for govt. agencies. Trading EB-5 permanent resident Visas for cash investments with ridiculously crooked return on investment terms.

My interest in this goes back to August when I found that the Trump Admin told CNN in August 2017 about their wonderful GSA provided carpet contractor working at the White House & other secure facilities.

Seems General John Kelly USMC (Ret.) & former Trump Chief of Staff & Secretary of Homeland Security has joined the board of Caliburn International the parent company of the group that owns the largest immigrant child detention centers.

Very interesting article on the Mueller Report lining up with the Barr Memo on Obstruction that he sent to Rosenstein in June 2018. Almost like Barr was asked to write it as a rebuttal to the Special Counsel's theory of twisting the obstruction law.

The author thinks Barr wrote it to check Mueller & Rosenstein, then Trump appointed Barr to implement his own memo's view. But I don't think so for several reasons that I will explain.
As the article points out, Barr directed his memo at the theory proposed by "Mueller's team" that Trump violated § 1512(c)(2). Not Mueller, Mueller's team. It seems certain that Barr was tipped off to the arguments that Mueller's team were making almost a year ago. But why?

1. How did I predict in May 2016 that Trump and his crew would be rolled up by #FISA? It was easy if you understand what FISA is and what it is not.
2. First a little background. I was harangued by family to go to law school. Janet Reno told me at her mother's 70's birthday party, if I was half as smart as my brother John, I'd be a good attorney. I eventually relented giving up my dreams of an acting career and went.
3. Two years after I passed the bar, my brother became the person handling FISA for Janet at the DOJ. He never said anything about it other than to read the statute. Having just passed the bar when most lawyers know more law than any time in their careers especially Con Law,
