Worth considering that Pelosi knows that sexism causes Trump (and a lot of other people!) to misjudge her and she uses that to both enrage him and outmaneuver him. Maybe it'll work, as it has before, or maybe it won't. But it's dumb to assume she's just feckless.

She also has to get her caucus to back impeachment as the only/best course to possibly a) disgorge evidence b) sway public opinion. She can't just jump up and down and scream "he's a criminal" like Twitter can.

Whether the tool of impeachment is used or not used the real goal is the fastest route to document production and compelling testimony. Two big court wins yesterday for Dems.

Trump having pouty meltdowns that make him look derranged is a bonus.
