In which that tired old favourite, prepare for no-deal to get a better deal, gets another airing, on the basis of no evidence whatsoever. Does the EU being prepared for no-deal mean the UK will give them a better deal?
I see 'managed no-deal' is also getting an airing in a few places. Honestly the surest way to ensure no future progress is to just believe the Government didn't do these things so the EU won the negotiation. Rather than to learn the painful realities.
Basically the idea that Theresa May didn't believe hard enough and that we should just rerun the negotiation with more belief is akin to a third division football team replacing their manager with one demanding more 'heart' - the effects are not usually lasting...
