How Readable is Your Ad?

A thread

A lot of writers create copies that just impress them and their clients alone.

They want to sound more "professional" but end up confusing the prospect that's reading the ad.

No matter your audience, your copy must...
Be easy to read.

There's this RULE in copywriting that says: "Your copy should be easy to read even for a 5th grader!

You don't want to make your prospect think too long.

The longer it takes them to understand what you're saying,

the harder it is for...
them to buy from you.

Okay! Check out these two sentences:

1) Charle's smoothie maker helps you make your perfect smoothie in less than 5 minutes. Did I also mention, it's energy saving? Okay, I just did. It's the BEST.

2) With it's up-to-notch light speed technology...
the all new and redefined Charles
smoothie maker crushes your fruits in the lowest number of time. It's also equipped with the watt-crash technology which will save your electricity energy. This is your perfect eco-friendly smoothie maker.

Which is easier to read and understand?
The first right?

That's exactly how you should write your contents.

A 7year old should be able to understand the message.

We are humans not robots, and we hate to think too much.

So make your ad easier for us to understand.

If not, we move to seller next door. There's a
technique used in knowing how Readable your copy is, it's called the Flesch-Kincaid Index.

I might talk about it later but the thread is already perfect.

Apply what you just learned!

And share😊

I'm really feeling dizzy! Just enjoy the thread. Lemme go and sleep 🏃🏿‍♂️🏃🏿‍♂️🏃🏿‍♂️
