Separating any families through deportation is cruel. Here though, Trump is *specifically targeting* the families of those currently serving & defending the United States. His sadism is truly terrifying.
Trump is terminating “parole in place.” Program “offers temporary relief from deportation for military families where a spouse or loved one came to the country illegally—to allow troops to serve w/o fear that their families could be sent home *while* service member is deployed.”
“The military has long been an avenue to citizenship for foreign nationals & over past 2 decades >130,000 troops from 30 countries become naturalized citizens.” While gross you have to risk your life for a chance at citizenship, canceling this program is a special kind of awful.
