Toddlers taken from their parents & caregivers & then thrown in a cage like animals. With no one caring for them. Older children assuming the role of caregiver because officials have all but abandoned them. This is what is happening to children. Defenceless innocent children.

Now remember that CPC and provincial conservatives admire Trump and his administration and have never voiced concern or criticism of the horrific conditions these children are being subjected to. Not once.

Remember Michelle Rempel’s and Lisa Raitt’s hyperbolic rants about “illegal” irregular border crossers.

Remember Kenney’s fenced refugee facilities when he was Minister of Immigration. And how he was instrumental in the decision to abandon Omar Khadr to torture in Guantanamo.

Remember the unmistakable glee he expressed while proudly proclaiming he was responsible for eliminating the ability of loved ones of men dying from AIDS to visit them in hospital as they were dying, forcing many to die alone.

Remember Harper’s confidential “barbaric practices” report line. Remember Michael Cooper reading a terrorist manifesto in Justice committee. Remember Alberta UCP candidates rubbing elbows with Sons of Odin members. Remember Yellow vests calling for PM to be hung as a traitor.

Remember Kenney’s disregard for opposition questions, comments and refusal to be held accountable. Remember Dominionist Christian anti-choice groups haughty boasts about engineering the leadership and nomination wins for Kenney, Ford & Scheer and a multitude of con candidates.

Remember the terrorist attack on Muslims in Quebec City, & the new law to bar people of faith to hold public service jobs. Remember Ford’s first policy was to remove funding from children with autism. And Kenney’s was on teens minimum wage, creating second class employees.

Remember Scheer’s promise to leave abortion issue and other social policy issues alone. And then remember how many CPC backbenchers have petitioned parliament to delist abortion, even criminalize abortion. As well as elicit radical anti-choice advocates from US to speak to MP’s.

Remember that school children are compelled to attend anti-choice rallies using public funds to pay to transport them. Remember the absolute refusal to allow GSA’s to be provided for publicly funded Christian schools in AB. Remember the burned rainbow pride flag in Sask.

Remember conversion therapy and the damage it does, forcing individuals to hate themselves. Remember who supports conversion therapy. Remember Kenney’s brother was forced to shut down a conversion therapy clinic in BC due to human rights abuse accusations. So he moved to Ontario.

Remember the continued minimization by Cons of the 200 year effort to eliminate indigenous rights and culture. Remember prisons and child apprehensions are over represented by indigenous peoples. Remember the inter generational impacts of Residential schools & the 60’s scoop.

Both child separation policies meant to inflict maximum damage on children. Permanently scarring them emotionally and mentally. Induced incapacity, turned against indigenous victims as evidence of their inferiority for the impacts separation policies caused.

Remember indigenous women are 12 times more likely to die by murder than white women. Remember missing and murdered indigenous women “are not on CPC radar”. Remember Wet’suwet’en raid and the trickery used to obtain consent for fossil fuel industry on FN land.

Remember private (aka corporate) property rights, freedom of hate speech & freedom of religion are the only rights Conservatives value.

Remember Conservatives resent the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the impositions it places on their ability to discriminate.

Remember that several provincial conservatives have underfunded healthcare & education for a generation and are swiftly moving to eliminate universality in favour of private, elitist healthcare and education options, leaving the rest of us with substandard & underfunded services.

Remember Ford removed multiple social service benefits for those in poverty, condemning them to destitution, suffering and despair. Remember Ford cut public healthcare funding in half, putting vast number of peoples lives at risk.

Remember Kenney’s vitriolic and incendiary rhetoric framing the narrative that ALL dissent, opposition. or concern regarding fossil fuel production is treasonous and anti Albertan, anti Canadian. Remember Harper’s govt of secrets and how he systematically removed every dissenter.

Remember Scheer’s repeated policy criticisms of Liberals diplomatic approach to Foreign govt’s whims and demands (NAFTA, Huawei, Saudi Arabia). Remember Scheer criticized Canada’s PM when Trump placed tariffs on Canadian products, & who he criticizes now that China is too.

Remember Scheer’s stating he’d have no problem sacrificing the lives of Canadians being held in China on false and dubious charges to demonstrate strong foreign policy stance. Remember his complete disregard for the Canadian economy if China increased their economic retaliation.

Remember the fiscal record of Harper govt. How Canadian assets were sold at a loss to present a balanced budget, and that Mulroney and Harper are responsible for the vast majority of debt owed to foreign govts.

Remember Arthur Porter, acting as a foreign agent, Harper appointed SIRC chair, who took bribes from SNC, & arranged to meet Russians (helped by Ari Ben-Menache, the Iran Contra Israeli spy), to arrange funding to build infrastructure in Africa. An early Gen. Flynn role model?

Remember that Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, & US all have significant holdings in Canada. Investments, property & natural resources. Our economy is dependent on trade with these nations, who are increasing their policy demands and using the economy as a weapon to gain compliance.

Remember Putin just declared the end of Western Democracy. He states liberalism has run its course and is no longer useful. He’s pleased with the spread of populism in Europe & North America.

Now tell me federal & provincial Cons aren’t inching towards concentration camps for undesirables in Canada. It could never happen here. Our institutions protect us. We’re special because we’re Canada, so we don’t need to pay attention to the fascists at the door.
