Do black and Hispanic Americans realize how harmful the Democrats' lunatic open borders agenda would be for them? Seems like a huge opportunity for the Trump campaign to explain it to them, in the process emphasizing what those groups have gained under his policies.

Your future under open borders is higher unemployment, lower wages, higher taxes, more crime, and desperate shortages of whatever benefits Democrats shower upon their new voters, prominently including health care.

Your votes will be diluted and nullified on a scale far beyond the worst paranoid fantasies of "stolen elections" peddled to you by defeated Democrat candidates. Note how the Left is fighting to keep the Census distorted by illegals, which has real effects on policy.

Organized crime will be even more flush with cash, killer drugs will flow even more freely into American cities, and gangs will have more manpower than ever. Meanwhile, the same Democrat Party wants to disarm YOU so you can't defend yourself against criminals.

Legal immigrants will suffer exceptional insults AND injury under the Democrats' open borders agenda. There's the obvious insult of watching people who broke the law skate in front of you and collect benefits you're not entitled to. You'll feel foolish for doing it the right way.

Legal immigrants who did the hard and noble work of entering America properly and using valuable skills to find a decent job will be immediately taxed to provide extensive benefits to illegals. They won't even be allowed to rhetorically distinguish themselves from illegals.

Legal immigrants will also get to enjoy the spectacle of all the social pathologies they fled walking across the border and setting up shop in the communities they fled to. That applies to people from EVERYWHERE, because they'll all flock to the open southern border.

This is an especially painful aspect of mass migration that everyone has been bullied out of discussing. Legal immigrants from any given negative environment have good reason to fear huge waves of people bringing the culture they fled along with them.

This can have very immediate consequences for the safety of the families. Some of the regimes migrants are fleeing have long memories and long arms. Democrats would make it impossible for us to weed out their enforcers at the border.

There will be dire consequences for the children of legal immigrants too. Migrants will concentrate in many of the same areas where legal immigrants have formed communities, overwhelming schools, hospitals, and law enforcement, just as border security is currently overwhelmed.

A great many legal immigrants want their children to become Americans, despite the best efforts of the Left to stigmatize the American identity and promote multicultural chauvinism. At the very least, they want their kids to become successful members of the American system.

Assimilation becomes radically more difficult, and will be made to seem less valuable and desirable, under the crushing pressure of mass migration across open borders. If you think left-wing anti-Americanism is bad now, wait until they have twice as many non-citizens to rile up.

It is always best to encourage people away from government dependency and nourish the opportunities for them to make a living, which as noted becomes more difficult under open borders - but our welfare system will also be pushed beyond the breaking point.

This will, in turn, create an economic death spiral that destroys jobs and opportunities for everyone, as taxes are hiked and new regulations added to accommodate the massive drain on social welfare resources. Black and Hispanic Americans will be hit hard and early by this.

As the migrant population swells, Democrats will work furiously to disable any systems and destroy any laws that prevent non-citizens from competing for jobs. Their presidential candidates already announced, in unison, they want to erase the concept of "non-citizenship" entirely.

Well, erasing the concept of non-citizenship means erasing the concept of citizenship as well. That will hit blacks, Hispanics, and communities of legal immigrants from all over the world incredibly hard. American citizenship is a valuable asset they cannot afford to lose.

Think how much more bitterly divided and vengeful America will become if the glue of citizenship that holds us together is dissolved. The mixture of rights and responsibilities embodied in citizenship is a treasure we don't appreciate today but will sorely miss when it's gone.

You want to see "income inequality?" You want to see a vast, unbridgeable chasm between haves and have-nots, elites and serfs? Let Democrats erase the border.

Think long and hard about which side of that chasm struggling minorities will find themselves on.

Now, here is the key fallacy Trump needs to identify and destroy during the 2020 campaign: many of the American minorities who would suffer the worst under open borders have been taught to believe the private sector is hoarding infinite resources that could pay for everything.

They think greedy rich people are sitting on treasure vaults that could easily finance more welfare benefits, public services, and jobs, so the consequences of open borders will be minimal once Democrat socialists seize their wealth and redistribute it "fairly."

That is where Trump's economic record should be a valuable asset for reaching out to minority voters, and he should propose growth policies that would make the point even more clearly. A fine lesson in the power of capitalism to make everyone's life better waits to be taught.

It's not enough to just say workers are doing better, with more jobs and higher wages, and minorities have done exceptionally well. You have to explain WHY, and how open borders would swiftly erase those gains.

Why does the Left do everything it can to promote anger, alienation, hopelessness, and dependency in minority communities? Because it knows those folks will see themselves as proud Americans unless taught EVERY DAY to think otherwise.

Paving the way for open borders is a big reason the Left pushes anti-Americanism so hard. They want to devalue citizenship so much that nobody fights for it. They want people to loathe American citizenship enough to throw it away. They understand its value and fear its power.

If Democrats impose their open-borders nightmare, citizenship will never be seen as valuable again. That will hurt all of us, but it will ESPECIALLY hurt minorities in so many ways. Come together and fight for citizenship or it WILL be taken away from you. /end
