Interesting filing in case against Internet Research Agency/Concord Mgmt (h/t @josh_emerson), in which Concord tries to argue that statements in the Mueller report & by AG Barr are prejudicial against Concord's defense by labeling IRA a Russian govt op /1

Judge largely not having it. Concord asks for transcripts/details of sealed hearing to be released, clearly believing those details will help them make the case they are not "information warfare" or a govt operation. Judge gives prosecution time to respond/suggest redaction. /2

Seems like lawyering intended to create press releases (some Kremlin-friendly media already arguing this is "proof" the IRA was not a Kremlin initiative, because, of course, "Russia's not a thing") /3

I did warn you that, in the end, POTUS wouldn't use the census to get the info he wants. Now he is free to ask palantir to get it from whatever source.
POTUS won this one. Now, instead of a census question, he'll have a database attached to personal info and that will be used to label illegals in every aspect of daily life. But clearly, this was always the point.
It will be this on steroids. Maybe Xi will give him tips on linking it to facial recognition checkpoints.

I know everyone is clamoring to start the impeachment process & I want Donald out as much as anyone else because each day brings new & more more dispicable behavior. BUT, I know that we have to allow Congress the time they need to do this right & I believe they’ve got this.

We’ve already seen that Speaker Pelosi has the ability to play Donald like a fiddle. She’s said that Donald isn’t worth it & that impeaching him isn’t good for the Dems politically... that might be true, but I believe there’s more.

First, let’s go back in history for the first impeachment in recent memory (the one that didn’t involve a sexual relationship) Watergate. The Watergate hearings in the senate started in May 1973 & didn’t complete until a year later.

2. When Mueller put entity defendants in the Internet Research Agency (NRA) case with individual Russian defendants, Yevgeniy Prigozhin hired DC firm to conduct discovery for Concord Mgmt trying to get at evidence that led to indictment. Humans must appear. But an entity can hire
3. an attorney. Mueller may be filing two cases for each conspiracy. One via indictment with all the individual defendants including a mix of Russians and US persons. That case will get discovery for the defendants who are arrested and arraigned. But no entities can use counsel.
