New: Prosecutors in Michael Flynn's case say they don't know yet what the change in their relationship with Flynn re: the EDVA trial will mean for sentencing. They'd like to continue delaying sentencing until after that trial is over. assets.documentcloud.org/documents/6187…
From the govt, re: unsealed records in EDVA about Flynn's role in the proceedings: "At this time the government cannot speculate on how specifically the aforementioned records will impact the government’s sentencing position in the proceedings before this Court"
Flynn is due to file a response tomorrow, stay tuned

The House has voted 230-198 to hold AG Barr and Commerce Sec. Ross in criminal contempt for not complying with a committee subpoena for materials about the census citizenship question. This is a criminal contempt resolution; the House prev. voted to hold Barr in civil contempt
A civil contempt vote means the House can go to court to sue to enforce its subpoena. A criminal contempt vote means the House makes a referral to DOJ (historically the US attorney's office in DC), which then decides whether to convene a grand jury (extremely unlikely)

NEW: The judge in Michael Cohen's case has ordered more info unsealed from search warrant materials, now that the investigation into his campaign finance violations is over. The judge denied govt's request for certain redactions, citing public interest assets.documentcloud.org/documents/6204…
Judge Pauley: "The campaign finance violations discussed in the Materials are a matter of national importance. Now that the Government’s investigation into those violations has concluded, it is time that every American has an opportunity to scrutinize the Materials."
The only redaction the judge will permit is "limited references in the footnote to an uncharged third-party." He's ordered the government to file the otherwise unredacted materials on the public docket by 11am tomorrow

The Senate Judiciary Committee is hearing this a.m. from 5th Circuit nominee Judge Sul Ozerden — he's one to watch, since he's faced some oppo from the right. His home state senators from Mississippi are introducing him now and expressing strong support
Cruz says he has "significant concerns" about Ozeden because he doesnt see any substantive evidence of a judicial record that shows the judge is a "strong constitutionalist" — so that's the first sign of trouble for Ozerden
Cruz presses Ozerden to address criticism that he doesn't have a proven conservative track record. Ozerden says he's spent most of his career in public service, which limits activity he can be involved in, and he can't pick and choose what cases he's gotten as a district judge
