@BBlankName @brandondarby 2-They feed a false narrative of success w/the Mexico program to the chiefs in D.C., this continues further funding & allows these diplomats to reward their friends with assignments in the finest neighborhoods of Mexico City, meanwhile, Mexico continues to suffer
@BBlankName @brandondarby 3-The true experts, career Spanish speaking LEO's with years investigating Mexican organized crime are ignored or shunned, especially if they come forward with any negative intel which could disrupt the false narrative of success they fed to the bosses in DC
@BBlankName @brandondarby 4-When these diplomats leave Mexico City for their next cushy assignment with the nice plaque they received lauding their success in Mexico, they should use that same plaque to cover the window of the airplane they are flying out in to avoid seeing a country in flames 😉
@BBlankName @brandondarby 5-The Mexico program had over 200 people & a monster budget, most of us LEO's believed that the program was being used to promote careers of a few select career diplomats & by checking off a box on such a large program. Over 10 years later & $$$, is Mexico better off today?
@BBlankName @brandondarby 6-I ran a highly successful anti-kidnapping unit in Port au Prince Haiti with 4 guys & help from two security professionals w/support from the U.S. Ambassador & U.S. Regional Security Officer, had zero budget. We investigated over 300 active or cold case kidnappings in two years.

One of the deputy directors who disregarded the corruption with one of our cartel-connected partners listed in the Breitbart piece above has been promoted & now running his own program in South America
